Privacy Policy

Overview

Fytte is designed with your privacy as a core principle. We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal data. Your personal content — your selected outcomes, session history, reflections, and preferences — stays on your device. To help us improve the app, we collect anonymous, aggregated product analytics via a privacy-focused third-party service (TelemetryDeck). Details are below.

Data Storage

All personal content — including your selected outcomes, session history, reflections, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This personal content is never uploaded to any server.

• No cloud sync
• No remote database for personal content
• Reflections, notes, and journal entries never leave your device

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.

User Accounts

Fytte does not require or support user accounts. There is no sign-up and no login.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Fytte does not process, store, or have access to any payment information. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Anonymous Product Analytics

To understand which features are useful and where people get stuck, Fytte sends anonymous, aggregated usage events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service operated by TelemetryDeck GmbH (Germany). TelemetryDeck performs on-device anonymization before any data is transmitted, does not use cookies, and does not issue cross-app tracking identifiers.

The events we send fall into these categories:

• Onboarding funnel — which outcomes and pain points you selected, chapters saved, and the outcome of the notification permission prompt
• Paywall events — paywall viewed, product selected, purchase converted, dismissed, or restore tapped
• Session activity — practice started, completed, or abandoned, with bundle identifier, duration in seconds, and step index
• Screen views — the name of the screen viewed (e.g. "Home", "Library")
• Engagement — favorite toggled, program started or completed, with program and bundle identifiers
• Reflection events — mood scores (1–10) before and after a session, and whether a note was added — never the contents of your note
• Errors — error category and message, with no user content

TelemetryDeck also automatically attaches basic platform metadata such as operating system version, device model class, app version, and locale. IP addresses may be briefly processed in transit for delivery but are not retained as identifiers.

We explicitly do not collect or transmit:

• The contents of your reflections, notes, or journal entries
• Your name, email, or contact information
• Precise location data
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data

Third-Party SDKs

Fytte integrates two third-party frameworks:

• Apple StoreKit — a first-party Apple framework used for subscription management
• TelemetryDeck SwiftSDK — used for the anonymous product analytics described above

Fytte does not include any advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs, social sign-in SDKs, or crash-reporting services that collect personal data.

Children's Privacy

Fytte is not specifically targeted at children under 13. Because we do not require an account, do not collect personal content, and only transmit anonymous aggregated analytics, the app poses minimal privacy risk to users of any age.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Because Fytte collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
